I received a PhD in History from UC Irvine, where I studied the influence of liberal philosophy on the international and imperial policies of the British Labour Party. Currently, I am researching the cultural and social impact of Brexit on the UK. I also have a deep interest in writing pedagogy. I have written academic articles for the International History Review and Jewish Culture and History. My work has also been featured in numerous public-facing venues. I am currently working on a manuscript titled It’s Not EU, It’s Me! A Cultural History of Brexit. Alongside my research, I offer seminars on democracy and populism, immigration and the global novel, and Brexit.
