Fonkem Achankeng I, PhD, a Hubert H. Humphrey International Fellow and conflict scientist, is on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and author of scores of journal publications. Founder and executive director of the Association for Nonviolence (ASFON), a not-for-profit engaged in peacebuilding and nonviolent conflict resolution, Dr. Fonkem is currently a member of the Executive Council of the Wisconsin Institute for Peace & Conflict Studies (WIPCS).
