Transforming theory into practice.
Each year, the Atlas Institute for International Affairs endorses, promotes and sponsors more than 150 conferences, roundtables and speaker events focusing on international affairs. The purpose is to encourage the widespread and indiscriminate dissemination of political, social and economic knowledge by both academics and practitioners of international affairs, a discipline that too often is perceived as structurally distant from those whom it should serve.
Atlas Institute collaborates with an extensive range of different organizations, including other think tanks, local associations and university societies. Interested groups can submit their applications for both an event promotion and an event report, although submissions for the first entail an obligation to ultimately send in the latter no longer than three working days after the happening of the event.
If submitting an Event Promotion, content must respect the following guideline:
- Range between 100 and 300 words.
- Include the date and location of the event.
- Include a brief summary of what the event is about.
- Be written in English, both American and UK variants accepted.
- State why the event’s topic of discussion is of particular relevance.
- Include a brief summary of the organizing group’s general information and mission.
- Include a brief summary of the panel members, speakers and/or involved organizations.
If submitting an Event Report, content must respect the following guideline:
- Range between 300 and 1000 words.
- Include the date and location of the event.
- Include a brief summary of what the event was about.
- Be written in English, both American and UK variants accepted.
- State why the event’s topic of discussion was of particular relevance.
- Include a brief summary of the organizing group’s general information and mission.
- Include a brief summary of the panel members, speakers and/or involved organizations.
- Include any insightful information apprehended during the event, along with any relevant passages or particular excerpts worthy of mention. Interviews are strongly welcomed.
Atlas Institute for International Affairs reserves the right to decline, accept or request submission. Any content which is accepted and meets the prerequisites will be published as soon as possible. Submissions allow consent for publication under the Publishing Agreement terms.
